In the last few pages of her newly-dropped memoir, "The Woman in Me," Britney Spears showed that even though she felt harmed and abused by her own family, she still thinks highly of them and still care of what they think.

She only has one fervent wish it seems - for them to see how they wronged her.

She wrote," I try not to think too much about my family these days, but I do wonder what they will think of this book. Because I was silenced for thirteen years, I wonder if, when they see me speaking out, they've had the occasional thought, Maybe she's right. I believe they have a guilty conscience, that they know deep down that it was very, very wrong to do to me what they did."

She added, "From all those years making myself do what I was told and being treated in a certain way, I've come to see what kind of people I want to be around and what kind of people I don't. So much of the media was cruel to me, and that hasn't changed just because I am out of the conservatorship. There's been a lot of speculation about how I'm doing. I know my fans care. I am free now. I'm just being myself and trying to heal. I finally get to do what I want, when I want. And I don't take a minute of it for granted."

If you live under the rock and does not know how her family hurt her, you should purchase the book asap.

Even though the book has only recently published, reviews are already being left by readers.

"Incredibly powerful story, almost surreal to read," a reader commented.

Another person added: "So far, so nice. Better than I anticipated, the writing. Britney, I love you. If you're unsure, take into account this endorsement from a customer who gave it five stars: "It's excellent, not good. If you're still debating whether to purchase it or whether it would be worthwhile to read...DO. IT. I cried throughout some of the book's sadder passages and other passages out of admiration. Everything we previously knew about her pales in comparison to her account of what happened, and the emotions she expresses while outlining her reality are moving and potent.

In their words, the novel is "brilliantly written, beautifully haunting but truly masterful storytelling," as reported by Yahoo.

Although Britney Spears has been in the public eye since she was a young child, she had a carefully cultivated public persona in the beginning of her career.

The 41-year-old has experienced ups and downs that have been quite public, but she hasn't been completely honest about her feelings. She is now being completely transparent. Spears discusses her relationship with Justin Timberlake, her ascent to pop success, the reason she shaved her head, and her family issues in the book.

Spears has made it plain that she's happy she spoke up about her life experiences, despite the fact that some of her revelations-like having an abortion while dating Timberlake-made headlines and (supposedly) ruffled some feathers.
