The interview with guest Geri Horner on Thursday morning's program of BBC Breakfast had viewers cringing, as viewers admitted.

As the Spice Girl made an appearance to talk about her new book, fans of the singer criticized broadcasters Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty for their "awkward" questioning.

Charlie accused Geri of constantly "pointing her finger" during the interview, while Naga questioned her about if she had "researched" them beforehand.

Startled, Geri politely asked if this was offensive and if it is then she would like to apologize. But instead of laying off her, Naga even asked if she liked being interviewed, out of the blue!

Geri goodnaturedly answered that she does not have any issues with being interviewed.

In yet another awkward moment, Geri said that she writes her novel in a garden shed because it helps her focus. But Charlie added, sceptically, 'I guess it's not a small shed, is it? When you mention "shed," I picture a fancy chamber or a warehouse. "I'm hearing cynicism, no, it's just a little shed in the garden," Geri shot back.

In response to the embarrassing exchange, viewers accused the presenters of having a "antagonistic undertone" on Twitter. "Why is this interview with Geri on BBC Breakfast so awkward?" inquired one individual.

Although Geri is a delight, there seems to be a tiny adversarial undertone between the two interviewers-how strange! Charlie's perspective was expressed in another way, saying: "@BBCBreakfast, what's up with Geri and Charlie? So haughty and conceited toward him. It's disappointing to hear that Geri is being questioned more about her marriage than her writing, remarked a third.

"It would have been great to hear Geri talk without being interrupted and constantly condescending," said another.

A different commenter stated: "Watching the interview made me cringe."

Another person said, "Yet another interview with Munchetti and Stayt about a car crash."

Geri "didn't look like she was enjoying the interview at all," many fans echoed.

In another interview, Geri was quite a delight.

Speaking with E! News, 51-year-old former member of Spice Girls discussed her reaction to 44-year-old Kardashian discussing how much she loved the band on the most recent episode of The Kardashians. The reality star also disclosed that she had once been asked to join the group in jest. She even revealed the Spice Girls moniker she would give the founder of SKIMS.

According to Halliwell-Horner, "she deserves something really good," to the outlet. "She deserves something like Inner Strength Spice. I think she's Smart Spice. She's smart," the Rosie Frost and the Falcon Queen author continued.
