James Blunt's career is soaring, with a new album, an acclaimed autobiography, and even his pub business.

Yet there is one small cloud that has dimmed this otherwise spectacular streak of success - the recent decision by Prime Video to put his "Beer Masters" series on hold.

Giving into his curiosity, James decided to embark on a new journey and explore the world of home brewing. He was joined by beer expert Jaega Wise, along with celebrity judges such as Daisy Lowe, in a mission to find Europe's leading backyard brewer.

Sadly, the success of the final beer blend in The Fox and Pheastant's West London boozer was not enough to have Prime Video bosses convinced of a second run of the series. Despite their efforts, it didn't bring the same enthusiasm.

An insider noted to The Sun: "Beer Masters seemed like it had the potential to be quite successful on Prime Video, and viewers certainly enjoyed it."

"However, such limited series may not necessarily fit in with the wider commercial plans of the platform; ratings are only one part of the puzzle."

James was overjoyed when he was offered a job for a show that attracted prominent names like Stella Artois, Leffe, and Camden Town Brewery.

"This is like a dream come true for me!"

Jaega was the obvious pick for the job: attractive, intelligent, and a beer expert. The show's producers needed a sidekick to join him, and lucky for them, Jeremy Clarkson wasn't available - so they got me!

With any luck, Amazon has only put this show on hold temporarily.
