At the request of KeKe Palmer, a temporary restraining order was issued against her ex-partner Darius Jackson, requiring the immediate relinquishing of all weapons in his possession.

The court has ordered that actor Darius remain at least 100 yards from the "Giant" singer and their 8-month-old son.

The ruling also granted the actress-singer sole custody until a further hearing on December 5. At that point, KeKe will have the opportunity to make her request for a permanent custodial order official.

Surrender The Guns

In October 2023, the relationship between Darius Jackson and KeKe Palmer finally ended after two years.

In her application for a restraining order, she revealed that Darius owned a firearm.

She had recalled him warning her that he would take his own life with it should she decide to leave him.

The court ruling declared that Darius must relinquish his firearm to local police within 24 hours after being served with the legal order. This was a mandatory requirement of the court's judgment.

In light of KeKe's accusations, it was further reported that Darius had allegedly been abusive during their time together. Consequently, it was decided that he had to store his weapon while a court case unfolded.

KeKe Palmer Abused

On November 7, KeKe Palmer recounted an incident where Darius Jackson returned to her home without warning.

According to the "Scream Queen" actress, he demanded that their son be allowed to attend a football game, but when Palmer declined, his anger was palpable.

The "FR FR" singer said, "He was yelling, leaning into me, getting into my face. At that point, he lunged at me, grabbing at my neck and face, knocked me backward over the couch, stole my phone out of my hands, and then ran out of the house."

"The police were called and arrived before Darius left. After interviewing me, my sister, and Darius, they made him leave and warned him not to return."

Not The First Time

KeKe shared another incident that allegedly occurred in February 2022.

According to her, Jackson flew into a rage when he was shown an image of the accuser wearing a bikini. "He threw me onto the ground and proceeded to hit my head from side to side," she stated. Adding to this, the following day, Darius was reportedly standing near the entrance of their home, screaming at her as she descended the stairs.

Describing the incident to the court, KeKe said that just as she was about to reach the bottom of the stairs, Darius seized her around her neck and forcefully threw her onto the stairway.

She attests that she worries deeply for Leo's safety in Darius' presence because he tends to erupt in violent outbursts in front of their son, along with his jealous and volatile nature.

Lawfully restraining his anger is another issue she brought up with much concern.
