Jason Mraz has embraced his past, present, and future. From keeping his sexuality a secret to finally owning it up, the singer never forgets his past.

This is why after he performed at "Dancing With The Stars: Taylor's Night," the memories of performing with Taylor Swift in the past came flooding back.

Jason Mraz Performed With Taylor Swift in 2011

Speaking to Page Six after the highly-awaited "Taylor's Night" on "Dancing With The Stars" Season 32, Jason Mraz couldn't be any happier as he reflects on working with the global popstar before.

In 2011, Taylor Swift brought out Jason Mraz at the Crypto.com Arena, formerly known as the Staples Center, for her "Speak Now" Tour stop in Los Angeles, California.

The two sang Mraz's biggest hit, "I'm Yours." Watch the video below.

Sharing his recollection of his encounter with Swift, Mraz had this to say.

"It was so wonderful! She's such a generous performer, sharing the stage with other artists and acknowledging her dancers and her crew. It was nice to have experienced that myself and get to sing on a stage with her. She's a real person and that's what I love about her success," he said.

Talking about Taylor Swift and his talent and impact, Mraz attested that Swift is one of a kind.

"She didn't come out of a machine, she wasn't fabricated. She started playing her songs at The Bluebird in Nashville and the whole globe recognizes that," he added.

Mraz also admitted that Swift has even personally inspired him throughout the years.

Jason Mraz Steps Into 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 32 Semi-Finals

Thanks to his Argentine Tango-infused performance of Taylor Swift's "Reputation" hit "Don't Blame Me," Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach sizzled in their performance - landing them a 40/40 score from the judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, Bruno Tonioli and "The Eras" Tour choreographer Mandy Moore.

Mraz is now at the "Dancing With The Stars" Season 32 Semi-Finals along with Alyson Hannigan, Xochitl Gomez, Ariana Madix, and Charity Lawson.

For Karagach, everything seemed to be worth it in the end.

"I don't think it's sunk in yet, it's just crazy. We've been working so hard and we've both been so sick," Karagach told Page Six. "So just to get out here and perform to the best that we could was already such a huge accomplishment for us."
