News of Adele's marriage to sports agent Rich Paul has been circulating for some time now, but fresh reports suggest she isn't too pleased with a specific obsession of his.
The 35-year-old British singer and 41-year-old Rich have been romantically linked since 2021, and only recently did Alan Carr reveal the news of their marital status.
Adele has had enough of living with Rich, an agent for some of the top sports stars in America, including NBA star LeBron James.
According to sources who spoke to several outlets, the "Hello" singer was heard to comment on how she was "tired" of her husband's constant viewing of sporting matches.
The American sports expert dedicates countless weekend hours to watching sports to stay informed about sporting results.
Recently, Adele was in the comedy show hosted by Alan Carr in Los Angeles.
Adele's Confession
At the comedy show, Alan questioned if anyone had recently tied the knot - with Adele purportedly announcing: "Yep, that would be me!" She is then supposedly reported to have spoken about her recent matrimony.
It is said that she articulated: "My spouse is an agent for athletes. He deals with basketball players and footballers. I was craving the return of football season, but I had already been fed up with it. His complete weekend is devoted only to observing matches."
"I just don't understand the game. And it's so annoying because I'm quite a clever person. And I do like sports. I don't understand it. I don't. Why did the whistle always get blown? Why is it four yards? Why are there inches? Why does it stop when it gets f---ing exciting?"
The "Rolling In The Deep" singer voiced her deep worries regarding athletes' safety while viewing American Football.
Adele said: "My heart drops every time I see players crashing into each other; it's almost like watching a rugby match. I'm so nervous about everyone's heads; I can feel my anxieties radiating off them."
She went on to say that though she's not a passionate football fan, supporting her partner is important for her.
"As far as who I should be rooting for, the decision was easy - being from England didn't factor into it. My man supports the Cleveland Browns, and so do I."
Adele Married
Rumors are swirling that Adele may be married, as she has been seen wearing a massive ring on her wedding finger.
This would make Rich her second husband, and although the award-winning singer has made jokes about being wed in the past, this claim appears to be more solidly based.
In 2011, Adele and Simon Konecki began a relationship that eventually led to them getting married in 2018. Their union was blessed with a son named Angelo, born in 2012. Unfortunately, the couple divorced two years later, and the legal end of their marriage came in 2021.
