Jung Kook might be enlisting for the South Korean military next month, but he had to give his fans one major surprise as he recently dropped a new song in collaboration with Justin Timberlake; listen to the new track below!

According to Billboard, the BTS member released the remix version of "3D" along with the NSYNC member. The song gives fans major nostalgia vibes as it sounded like a mid-2000s hip-hop track.

"Jung and JT on the main now/ You can still find me in a drop top/ With the top down but I got so many lanes now," Timberlake sang on his verse.

The original version of the song had Jack Harlow as a featuring artist and it became the first song on Jung Kook's solo album titled "Golden."

Jung Kook Military Enlistment

The latest song comes a few days after Jung Kook announced that he will start his military enlistment in a few weeks.

"As I share this news, I feel heavy on one hand, and on the other hand, I'm reminded of precious memories with ARMY, so my heart warms up. Every moment I've spent with you has been the brightest time of my life," he told his followers on Weverse.

He added in his letter that his supporters led him to his international success and he continued thanking those who supported him along the way.

"I'll miss you deeply while waiting for the day we meet again and talk about something new," he wrote to conclude the letter.

BTS Military Enlistment

The reason why Jung Kook will be enlisted in the military is because South Korea requires its able-bodied male citizens to undergo 18 months of military service when they turn 28.

The singer is not alone as other members of BTS like V, RM, and Jimin are also preparing for their enlistment.

Last year, their bandmates Jin, Suga, and J-Hope had already begun their mandatory training and they were the first batch of BTS to do so.

As of this writing, their management has yet to reveal their plans once the boyband members finished their requirements.
