On Tuesday, December 5, Lopez graced the red carpet of 2023 Elle Women in Hollywood in Los Angeles, Calif., with her husband, Ben Affleck. She donned a risqué chrome breastplate that turned people's heads, showing her underboob and well-defined midriff section.
However, not everyone praised her appearance.

The Mirror shared some of the social media users' reactions after they were left "confused" by Lopez's getup. Some even said she looked like she was wearing an apron then.
One said, "The outfit is absolutely awful. Her stylist completely failed her."
"Wear a bra, instead of this apron thing you'll look sexier," another wrote.
Some also compared her to Zendaya, who wore a similar outfit in the past, saying that the "Spider-Man: Far From Home" star looked "a thousand times better" than Lopez.
Meanwhile, her fans quickly defended her and applauded her for sporting such a daring look. She also impressed everyone when she spoke about aging for the magazine's feature story.
"As you get older and you have more experience, you become a richer human being and you have more to offer," she said. "The idea of, 'There's nothing really valuable about watching a woman over 30' is so ridiculous, it's the opposite of right. It just makes me laugh."
She noted that people realized women get sexier as they get older before praising people not just for the physical aspects but also "on the inside."
Jennifer Lopez Gushes About Ben Affleck
In a quick interview with Extra at the event, Lopez low-key dismissed the rumors surrounding her and Ben Affleck's marriage.
"We're real partners," she gushed about her husband. "Not just in working together, but in life, as parents and as lovers. We discuss everything with each other. I want his opinion. I trust him."
She said her husband "has the best intentions and has no agenda" other than seeing her shine just like what she wants for him.
For what it's worth, Lopez and Affleck sparked marriage troubles rumors after he was seen with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, several times while co-parenting their children. Amid the buzz, Lopez and Affleck continuously marked public appearances that ultimately debunked the rumors.
Meanwhile, unnamed sources told In Touch Weekly that the married couple's honeymoon phase may be over, but they are still "very much in love."
