Priscilla Presley reflected on her relationship with Elvis Presley decades after his death.

On August 16, 1977, the King of Rock and Roll passed away at the age of 42. Four years before his demise, Priscilla divorced him after six years of marriage.

Elvis Presley Is Still in Priscilla Presley's Heart Decades After His Death

Speaking in a new interview with The Sunday Times, Priscilla spoke candidly about not having a day that goes by that she does not think of her ex-husband.

"Just last week I saw a shirt and I could almost hear myself saying, 'Elvis would love that. Should I get it for him?'" she told the outlet, adding she could feel his spirit in Graceland.

In addition, she reportedly dreams of him since he was a big part of her life.

Priscilla noted again why she never remarried, admitting she never thought she would find and love someone as much as she did to him. Her comment resonated with what she told the attendees of a Q&A event at the South Point Casino in Las Vegas in November, during which she seemingly confirmed she made a vow not to marry again.

"I just don't think he could handle that," she shared. "To be honest with you, I never wanted to marry after him. I never had any desire. No one could ever match him."

As for the reason why they never had more children after giving birth to Lisa Marie Presley, Priscilla said her ex-husband felt he was not present enough to give a lot of attention to another baby.

Sofia Coppola Comments on Elvis Presley's Portrayal on 'Priscilla'

Sofia Coppola dropped "Priscilla" years after the hit Baz Luhrmann's "Elvis" hit the big screen. The new film did not receive pure praise from fans, as some accused her of painting Elvis as the bad man in the flick.

For what it's worth, "Priscilla" portrays the King of Rock and Roll being abusive toward Priscilla.

The creator explained her side during a conversation with Richard Curtis and said she found the right balance to depict the singer.

"I really tried not to make it black-and-white. I really tried not to make him the villain," Coppola said. "But that scene was the harshest one, it was really hard to do that. We only did a few takes."

She added, "I couldn't see her being treated in that cruel way. But it's a love story to her and it had a lot of highs and lows, so I tried to balance it so that it had exciting times and dark times."
