Charlie Puth considers preparing for a wedding to be "more intense" than touring. The musician, 32, proposed to Brooke Sansone in September.
Although he is not disclosing any information about the marriage, he has been actively involved in the planning, and setting up the logistics is like getting ready to go on tour for a run of shows.
Regarding his wedding preparations, he revealed to People magazine that he preferred to keep some items inside our house because they are so prone to being lost.
"Planning a wedding is a lot like planning a tour. It's probably even more intense."
The 'We Don't Talk Anymore' hitmaker already feels like he has a second family. The couple was acquaintances for years until they were romantically involved in the summer of 2022.
He shared, "I've known her. I mean, she grew up one town over from me in New Jersey, and my parents know her parents."
"Her dad has been best friends with my dad since the third grade, so it's kind of like I'm just gaining another family right away, even before the wedding. And they've also known me before the fame, before everything, so I can't think of a better situation, quite frankly."
Charlie also expressed his gratitude for his fiancée for getting him the "coolest present ever" on his 32nd birthday, December 2.

He explained: "She got me an Apple computer, an Apple 2 from 1991. "[The] serial number's from December of 1991, which is obviously when I was born, and the computer came with old recording software on it. Obviously, it's very rudimental, but it's so cool just to see how they were able to record music in the past.
"She searched far and wide for that gift, we both love giving gifts." The 'Light Switch' singer did, however, quip that there is a drawback to such a wonderful present.
He quipped: "Now I've got to top it for her birthday."
The history of Charlie Puth and Brooke Sansone's romance dates back to their childhood in New Jersey. Since they were from the same hometown, their families were linked, which provided a strong basis for their romantic relationship.
Rumors of their romance had been circulating since the summer of 2022, even though they had confirmed their partnerships on Instagram in December of 2022.
The couple took a big step toward revealing their love to the world when they made their first appearance in public at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala in Los Angeles.
Charlie Puth stressed the comfort of having someone familiar by his side amidst the tumult of his job, having grown up together. Sansone's relationship with Puth's family and her steadfast support offer stability through life's highs and lows.
