Pharrell Williams has something new to be "Happy" about. His peppy worldwide chart-topping single "Happy" has now become the most downloaded song in the history of the U.K.

According to The Official Charts Company, Pharrell's "Happy" has sold 1.62 million digital copies in the U.K. since its release in November 2013 as a part of the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack.

And he beat... himself. "Happy" unseated Pharrell's 2013 collaboration with Robin Thicke and T.I. "Blurred Lines," which has sold an equally impressive 1.59 million digital downloads overseas.

"Happy" and "Blurred Lines" aren't Pharrell's only showings in the top 10 most-downloaded songs list in the U.K. His collaboration with Daft Punk, "Get Lucky," appears on the chart at No. 6, making him the only artist to appear in the top 10 three times.

"The people of the UK have been so supportive of me over the years, allowing me to be an artist and allowing me to work with other people and supporting what it is that I do," Pharrell said in a statement. "That’s the lifeline, without them you’re just a musician with a couple of ideas but with them, that is the thing that changes everything when they get involved, your little idea can become something, so …thank you!’'
