Top Global Songs in Apple Music 2023

According to Oliver Schusser, Apple's vice president of Apple Music and Beats, the well-loved artist is a generation-defining artist and a true change agent in the music industry. However, Swift's song wasn't the most popular one on Apple Music this year, though.

The biggest song on Apple Music is "Last Night" by country music artist Morgan Wallen. This is the first time a country song has topped these charts since "Old Town Road" in 2019.

Wallen's "One Thing at a Time" album was also the most streamed album on Apple Music this year. 'Last Night' by Wallen topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 16 weeks this year, surpassing 'As It Was' by Harry Styles as the longest No. 1 run for a non-collaboration song.

'Despacito' by Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber was also tied for the second-longest reign in the 65-year history of the Hot 100.
