Ryan Gosling shuts down rumors that he's performing at the 2024 Academy Awards with his summer hit "I'm Just Ken."

"I'm Just Ken" made waves after Gosling's masterful performance of Ken wooed critics and the public alike.

Ryan Gosling Oscars Performance

In an interview with W Magazine, Ryan Gosling confirmed whether or not he has been invited to perform at the 2024 Academy Awards.

Gosling has been predicted to snag a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the Academy Awards following his nomination at the Golden Globe Awards for "Barbie."

When asked by the publication about the idea of him performing at the awards ceremony, Gosling said: "Well, I haven't been invited but thanks for pointing that out."

Channeling his Ken-ergy, Gosling asked if the gig of performing for the Oscars offered monetary compensation, which Margot Robbie, who played Stereotypical Barbie in the film, vocally expressed that she doubted it pays.

"What do you get paid to sing at the Oscars?" Gosling funnily asked. "They pick you up at least, right? You don't have to self-drive?"

"You get a free ride," Robbie answered back. "Uber home, maybe?"

"I'm Just Ken" is written by Oscar-winning producer and musician Mark Ronson and produced by Mark Wyatt. Gosling's performance in the movie and singing of the said song has garnered public and critical acclaim, which makes it a strong contender for the Best Original Song category.
