Talks about Selena Gomez and Kylie Jenner's feud reemerged after they attended the Golden Globes 2024.
Gomez and Taylor Swift earned the "gossip girls" nickname after the public spotted them speaking closely, leading others to assume they were talking about Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet.
A lip reader told The Mirror that Gomez seemingly wanted to take a picture with the "Wonka" star, but Jenner did not let her do so.
While fans believed it truly happened, a source clarified the rumors surrounding the alleged gossip.
Selena Gomez Not Furious During the 2024 Golden Globes
A source clarified to People that Gomez was not furious during her appearance at the event. They added that the circle of friends was not speaking ill about the couple.
In fact, the "Lose You to Love Me" singer reportedly never saw them or spoke to them at the event.
Gomez and Jenner's feud started in March 2023 when the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" alum and Hailey Bieber were accused of mocking the former Disney star for her looks.
At that time, Gomez uploaded a photo of herself and joked about accidentally laminating her eyebrows. Three hours later, Jenner and Bieber took close-up pictures of their laminated eyebrows.
However, the Kylie Cosmetics founder soon dismissed the rumors that she hated Gomez.
"This is reaching. No shade towards Selena ever and I didn't see her eyebrow posts. You guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly," Jenner said.
Meanwhile, Gomez commented on a post, "It's all unnecessary. I'm a fan of Kylie's."
Gomez previously dated Hailey's husband, Justin Bieber. She currently has a blooming romance with Benny Blanco.

Gomez shared photos of Benny Blanco hugging her from behind, writing, "He is my absolute everything in my heart."
The pair were seen sharing a sweet kiss after attending Sunday's event.
Previously, a source told People that the singer is super happy amid her newfound romance.
"She seems to be really feeling herself at the moment," the source told People. "Maybe that's Benny or maybe that's just where she's at personally and professionally. Everyone is so happy that she's happy."
