Selena Gomez has been flaunting her relationship with her boyfriend Benny Blanco, but what is their relationship like behind the scenes?

"Selena feels very at home and at ease with Benny," a source told Entertainment Tonight about the new romance budding between the singer and music producer.

"Their friends, family, and loved ones on both sides are all supportive and happy to see what they think could be an amazing and long-lasting relationship between the two of them."

Unlike her previous relationships, the "Lose You to Love Me" singer's family and friends had nothing but great things to say about Blanco.

"Benny finds Selena to be brilliant beyond belief," the source added. "He thinks she is extremely talented, genuine, sweet, and intelligent. He respects everything that she stands for and admires her ability to speak her personal truths and share what she's gone through with the world."

Gomez recently shared a picture of her and Blanco kissing at the 2024 Golden Globes backstage; she captioned the post, "I won."

Selena Gomez Meets Her Soulmate?

While Blanco thinks the "Only Murders in the Building" star hangs the moon, stars, and everything in between, it seems like, she thinks highly of him as well.

Gomez has a lot on her plate, a struggle that she shed some light on in her 2022 documentary "My Mind & Me."

Not only does the singer grapple with her lupus, but she also deals with mental health issues.

"Selena appreciates Benny's intellect, overall passion in life, his art, dedication, and values," the source continues. "He's very respectful and meshes well with everyone in her inner circle."

Selena Gomez, Benny Blaco's Relationship

According to reports, Gomez's friends and family think that the couple are in it for the long haul.

Before pursuing a relationship, though, the two were collaborators. In October 2015, they worked on the singer's sophomore album. He was credited as a producer in her songs 'Kill Em With Kindness" and "Same Old Love."

They collaborated again in March 2019; she worked with him on the Reggaeton song "I Can't Get Enough" with Tainy and J Balvin.

For months in 2023, Gomez kept sharing her relationship status--which was single then, however, the tides changed around October when Benny attended Gomez's Rare Beauty Impact Fund Benefit.

By November, the singer gave a special shout-out to the music producer on Instagram, as she promoted his cookbook.
