Phil Collins' Net Worth 2024

As of 2024, Phil Collins' net worth is around $350 million, making him one of the richest lead singers and drummers of all time. In just one touring year, he could earn as much as $50 million.

He is also one of the only three artists in history - alongside Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney - to sell more than 100 million albums both as a solo artist and as a group.

Phil Collins' Health Issues

Collins' health setbacks started in 2009 when he injured the vertebrae in his upper neck during a performance. The nerve damage he sustained also affected his mobility, telling "BBC Breakfast" that he could barely hold a stick with his hands.

"Somehow, during the last Genesis tour, I dislocated some vertebrae in my upper neck, and that affected my hands," Collins explained at that time. "After a successful operation on my neck, my hands still can't function normally. Maybe in a year or so, it will change, but for now it is impossible for me to play drums or piano."

He also went through mental health issues that almost led him to take his own life. On top of these, his alcohol addiction worsened following his divorce from his third wife, Orianne Cevey.

His other health issues included type 2 diabetes, a "foot drop" condition and acute pancreatitis.

Phil Collins' Retirement

Where Is Phil Collins Now?

As of press time, Collins and his representatives have not released an update about the drummer since his retirement. People close to him, meanwhile, shared updates in 2023.

In March, Peter Gabriel told Uncut that Collins did not look as healthy as he could remember him when he watched the band and cheered his former bandmates.

Mike Rutherford added that Collins became much more immobile than he used to be.

"He's fine now at home, enjoying life. He's worked so hard over the years. I think he's enjoying his time at home," he went on.
