However, in the early months of 2021, the former "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star initiated divorce proceedings, and their marriage came to an end.
In an interview with The Mirror, Louella shared her insights on the enduring bond between Kanye West and Kim's entire family, despite the tumultuous history they have faced.
After all, he was just seen hugging Khloe Kardashian in public recently.
All About the Kids
"Their deep connection stems from the fact that Kanye and Kim are parents to four beautiful children."
Louella also noted that the heartfelt hug between Kanye and Khloe could possibly be seen as a genuine display of affection, a reflection of the years they have spent as family.
The expert on relationships remarked, "One admirable trait of Kim is her ability to prioritize the welfare of her loved ones, setting aside her personal emotions."
"This is particularly evident in her dynamic with Tristan, the father of her kids. Despite the numerous instances of infidelity and dishonesty, Kim chooses not to speak ill of him and instead actively engages in positive co-parenting for the sake of their two children."
In consideration of the well-being of both Kim and Kanye's children, it was also proposed that Kim may have desired to portray a positive and harmonious connection with Kanye.

With four children between them - Saint, Chicago, North, and Psalm - fostering a united front in their presence could establish a sense of stability and normalcy.

The expert further said that parents often find themselves caught between conflicting dynamics, resulting in stress, confusion, and a burden of guilt.
"To mitigate these emotions, witnessing the harmony between Kim, Khloe, and Kanye can alleviate any negativity the children may feel towards their respective father or uncle."
"Furthermore, it fosters a sense of comfort and security within their familial connections."
In light of the unbreakable bond between Kim and Kanye, Louella issued a cautionary reminder that there will be occasions when both parties will have to take a temporary pause.
"Certain circumstances might arise when individuals such as Kanye have inflicted considerable pain and damage, thereby requiring the family to temporarily distance themselves."
She expressed that during such instances, it might become imperative for Kim or Khloe to create some space between themselves and Kanye until he takes steps towards reconciliation and gaining back trust.
"Setting boundaries is a crucial element in maintaining a healthy relationship, and Kim needs to prioritize the welfare of her children and herself when it pertains to her connection with Kanye," she asserted.
