Common and Jennifer Hudson's relationship has been widely talked about in Hollywood.
The two have been spotted going out numerous times in the past already and the former's visit on the latter's talk show seemed to confirm everything that fans have been speculating.
Common Confirms Jennifer Hudson Relationship?
To start things off Jennifer Hudson rapped her introduction to Common, who came out from backstage bringing a large bouquet of flowers for the Emmy-winning host.
In the exclusive clip that People Magazine had obtained before the show aired, Hudson pressed Common with a rather obvious question.
"Now, we gotta get down to business, Mr. Common. I'm a host and so I have to ask you this question 'cause everybody always wanna know this - are you dating anyone?" she asked coyly.
"I'm in a relationship that is with one of the most beautiful people I ever met in life," he responded, without even mentioning Hudson's name. "She's smart, she loves God, she has something real down-to-earth about her, she's talented."
To top things off, Common said that he wanted her woman to be successful, and prefers to be an EGOT winner. Hudson became the last woman and the youngest artist to become an EGOT winner when she won a Tony Award in 2022 for producing "A Strange Loop."
Gushing more on his relationship, Common had this to say: "This relationship is a happy place for me. Seeing her happy actually makes me really happy. So, I'm very grateful. I thank God each and every day, and I'm just letting God guide this relationship."
The two have sparked dating rumors since 2022 and have been seen going out multiple times.
Hudson crushed rumors then, saying that they're only working professionally.
