However, rapper T-Pain recently revealed that he almost had a featuring song with Michael Jackson and Usher that didn't happen because of a specific person.

Other Michael Jackson Stories

This was not the first time an artist spoke about their experience with Michael Jackson as Eddie Van Halen previously worked with the pop star during the peak of his career.

In early reports, the guitarist was credited as one of the people who worked on the iconic song "Beat It" in 1983, but Van Halen reportedly broke a rule just for him to play on the song.

Collaborator David Paich detailed that when he spoke to the musician, he didn't believe it was real at first, until he later agreed to be a part of the production process of the track.

However, in order of doing so, he had to break a major rule from Van Halen.

"Ed didn't want to do it at first because Van Halen had a no-session-band rule... You can't play on other people's records," Paich said.

Regardless, the guitarist still played the part of the song and it became one of the most successful tracks of all time.
