Hardwell has unveiled the music video for his recent single, "Echo," featuring the top line of trance vocalist, Jonathan Mendelsohn, from his debut artist album, 'United We Are.' A surprising cut from the album that ditched his big room, festival-driven sound and went more towards trance that has been a hallmark of Dutch dance music since the 1990s, Hardwell showed some versatility with "Echo" and employed one of the best vocalists in the genre to help him. It was a bright spot on an album that had its moments of brilliance, but was otherwise rather disorganized and disjointed. -

Directed by Ryan Staake, the video instead of focusing on a young J. Cole or surrogates for him, it takes a totally different spin on his love story and replaces it with puppies to reinforce the idea of puppy love found in the track.
