    Taylor Swift's recent single "Welcome to New York" has met with a lot of snark and criticism from New Yorkers, including us here at "Music Times," but the song's success may actually be beneficial to New York City. During her appearance today, Oct. 29, on "The View," Swift revealed that the proceeds she is making off the song are going to be donated to the New York City public school system.
