  • Shakira announces new self-titled album on Facebook

    Last year was full of releases from big-name pop stars and perhaps the first blockbuster pop album of 2014 has been announced. Shakira revealed this morning via her Facebook account that her forthcoming album, titled simply Shakira, would be released March 25.

    It's been a long journey for the Arctic Monkeys, but the British alt-rock band has finally reached No. 1 in America. The band's lead single from its fifth studio album AM "Do I Wanna Know?" has climbed to the top spot on Billboard's Alternative Songs Chart seven months after it debuted.

Columbia/Legacy will be releasing a series of gigs from both Fillmores East and West in Miles At The Fillmore: Miles Davis 1970: The Bootleg Series Vol. 3 (double-colons?).

Presented by D-Nice, Blak and Blu: The Mixtape features guests appearances by Robert Glasper, Talib Kweli, Erykah Badu and Jill Scott as well as a remix of "Blak and Blu" featuring Big K.R.I.T.
