• Andrew Jarecki: Robert Durst Audio Tapes Turned Over to Police Months Ago

HBO had teased that 'The Jinx' was going to end in explosive fashion, and it was not kidding. Just hours before the finale of the documentary based on Robert Durst was set to air, police moved in and arrested him on a murder warrant for the death of Susan Berman. She had served as Durst's spokeswoman and was shot in the back of the head in 2000. It was right before she was expected to be questioned about the disappearance of Durst's first wife Kathleen nearly 20 years earlier. Ironically, a typo on a handwritten piece of paper is what ultimately lead to Durst's unraveling. Andrew Jarecki was the director of 'The Jinx' and spent a good deal of time with Durst. He and the rest of the production team was absolutely stunned to hear Durst mutter into an open mic, "What the hell did I do? Killed them all, of course." While it can and no doubt will be argued that Durst assumed he had privacy while in the bathroom, the fact is he still had a hot mic clipped to him and understood how it worked. Jarecki turned all the audio tapes over to police months ago, and on Monday, March 16, he sat to discuss his experience with Durst on 'CBS This Morning.'

  • SJP Reteaming with HBO for New Comedy 'Divorce'

Is it time for Sarah Jessica Parker to return to the small screen on a regular basis? Well, 10 years after the popular "Sex and the City" ended its six-year run on HBO, Parker is ready to do television again. She is also close to inking a new deal that would bring her back to HBO, the pay channel that was home to "SATC." The show that has sparked Parker's interest in returning to television is a comedy called Divorce. According to "The Hollywood Reporter": "'Divorce' centers on a middle-aged woman (Parker), who, influenced by her two recently single friends, impulsively brings up the idea of divorce with her husband but then can't decide whether to actually go through with it — until her husband discovers the affair she's been having and calls the marriage off." Parker would not only star in the potential half-hour show, but she would also serve as an executive producer alongside Sharon Horgan, Paul Simms, Alison Benson and Aaron Kaplan. The project itself must be well-done for Parker to even consider doing it because, inevitably, her potential work here would be compared to that of "SATC."
  • EXCLUSIVE: Classicalite Q&A with Violinist Joshua Bell on HBO & Mendelssohn's Octet; D.C. Metro & Bach's Concertos

With his Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority mulligan miles behind him, Joshua Bell is Skyping with me from his suite at the Ritz-Carlton, Dubai. As per usual when talking to the press, the world's greatest living violinist is in between rehearsals. Yes, Bell has traveled to the United Arab Emirates to perform Felix Mendelssohn's 'Violin Concerto' in E minor, Op. 64 at the Royal Opera House Muscat with the Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields--the storied British band, founded by Sir Neville Marriner in 1958, that Bell remains the only American to have led as both music director and conductor.
  • Jennifer Hudson Reveals 'Sex and the City 3' Is in Talks; Sarah Jessica Parker, Producer Michael Patrick King Agree There Is One Final Story to Tell

Potentially great news for "Sex and the City" fans, it looks like a third film may really be more than just a distant dream. Last February, "SATC" producer Michael Patrick King mentioned in an interview that he believed the beloved series had one story left to tell. Carrie Bradshaw herself, Sarah Jessica Parker, agreed with him shortly thereafter and seemed open to the possibility. Jennifer Hudson, who played Louise from St. Louis in the first "SATC" film, did an interview with Dish Nation the other night and kind of let the cat out of the bag.
