Miguel Bosé Receives Latin Grammys Person of The Year Honor
The Latin Grammys will take place tonight at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, where all of Latin music's most noteworthy honors will be given out amongst an impressive collection of performers and performances from across the world of Spanish music. One award is traditionally given away during a separate ceremony the night before however, and on Wednesday, Miguel Bosé was presented with the Person of The Year Award. -
Barack Obama To Welcome Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Prince Royce and More to White House for Hispanic Heritage Month Performance
It's no secret that Barack Obama is a fan of good ol' fashion R&B (as evidenced by video of him performing Al Green's "Let's Stay Together"), but the White House will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month on Monday when it hosts "Musica Latina: In Performance At The White House" on Monday. The event is meant to showcase "the influence and cultural contributions of Hispanic communities and their music" said the White House in a statement.
