  • Snoop Dogg and Son Cordell Broadus to Star in ESPN's High School Football Reality Show [WATCH]

In case you didn't know, Snoop Dogg's son, Cordell Broadus, is a solid football player. He's actually one of he top college prospects in the nation at wide receiver. ESPN jumped at the opportunity to document the whole process recently in a a new reality show 'Snoop & Son: A Dad's Dream,' Vibe notes. A trailer for the series dropped today (Dec. 19) and it doesn't look half bad.
  • Wiz Khalifa Samples Mac DeMarco For "Smoke Chambers" [LISTEN]

asdEven though he has no upcoming album or mixtape projects that we know about, Wiz Khalifa keeps dropping new songs, his latest being the exceptionally trippy and laidback "Smoke Chambers," which you can check out below. The song heavily samples fellow stoner Mac DeMarco's synthpop number "Chamber of Reflection" from his latest album Salad Days, even keeping DeMarco's original "alone again" vocal hook, which ties in to Khalifa's theme of the alienation his fame has brought him. This is the sort of hazy production that Khalifa should be using more often.
  • C-Murder Teams Up With Boosie Badazz And Snoop Dogg For New Song 'Hard 2 Be Black' [LISTEN]

C-Murder is currently serving a life sentence for the 2002 murder of a 16-year-old fan but apparently the time he spent outside of a jail cell was a struggle in itself. The incarcerated rapper teamed up with Boosie BadAzz and Snoop Dogg on a new song called "Hard 2 Be Black," where they rhyme about the life of a black man in America.
  • Sorry 2014: The Year's 10 Most Memorable Musician Apologies: Pharrell, Nicki Minaj, And More

In the Internet era, there are more ways than ever for the mean, stupid things we all do to get out into the public eye, which means that we're constantly flooded with apologies from actors, politicians, musicians, and basically anyone who's famous. There were a ton of big apologies in 2014 from musicians, so here are the 10 most memorable.
  • Label Splits Far More Intense Than Current Lil Wayne Drama: Dr. Dre and Death Row, The Game and G-Unit and More

Depending on how much faith you put in social media, it seems Lil Wayne is hellbent to get away from Cash Money Records due to the label allegedly refusing to release his Tha Carter V. Depending on how much faith you put in statements from management, it seems that Weezy won't be jumping ship. We're more inclined to believe the latter...after all, Cash Money kind of owns Wayne's personal label Young Money. Regardless, there have been uglier splits than this is the history of hip-hop. Here are a few of the most dramatic:
  • Iggy Azalea Ripped Her Pants Performing 'Booty' at a Bar Mitzvah and Her Reps Tried to Get Video Taken Down [WATCH]

Iggy Azalea went a little too hard at a recent gig. The rapper was in the middle of her new Jennifer Lopez collaboration, "Booty," when she ended up splitting her pants. Cellphones were not allowed at the gig, which was a bar mitzvah celebration that also featured Nick Jonas, but that rule wasn't strictly enforced since there is video of the incident. Reps for Azalea reportedly tried to get the video taken down

  • Snoop Dogg Drops A Verse On Riff Raff's New Song "Yesterday," Featuring Collie Buddz [LISTEN]

  • Flying Lotus Shares Doom Collaboration 'Masquatch' From 'Grand Theft Auto V' [LISTEN]

Just yesterday, experimental hip-hop producer Flying Lotus shared a new track from the upcoming re-release of Grand Theft Auto V called "Medication Meditation," featuring Krayzie Bone. Today, FlyLo is back with "Masquatch," another weird yet incredible song from the soundtrack, featuring underground hip-hop visionary DOOM (a.k.a. MF DOOM, a.k.a. Viktor Vaughn, a.k.a. King Geedorah). The track's extremely brief running time (it comes it under two minutes) is reminiscent of DOOM's classic Madlib collaboration Madvillain, and its abstract, hookless production wouldn't sound out of place on their Madvillainy LP.
