During a sit down with DatzHott, Wright shared her opinion on the N.W.A. biopic and revealed the subject matter of her forthcoming film, 'A Ruthless Scandal: No More Lies.' Wright said that her film will fill in gaps about her father's legacy that were excluded from 'Compton.'
  • Judge Denies Suge Knight Request To Dismiss Murder Charges

    There had been a glimmer of hope when one of the main eye-witnesses in the murder case against rap mogul Suge Knight flip-flopped on his story and decided not to testify about the murder of the alleged victim, Terry Carter. Despite the flip-flop by the witness, Cle "Bone" Sloan got into an alternation with Suge Knight and was run over by the Death Row Records founder just moments before Knight allegedly ran over Carter. Sloan refused to testify about the incident at a preliminary hearing in April and thus, Knights attorneys moved to try and dismiss the case. Today, July 7, Superior Court Judge Stephen A. Marcus rejected that as a good reason to dismiss the case.

According to TMZ, Carter's wife and children have filed a wrongful death lawsuit claiming that his death was caused by gang members who sparked the fight leading up to Suge Knight's fleeing the scene. Knight is unsurprisingly named in the suit, while Dr. Dre and Ice Cube are also named.

No reason was given for the transportation of Knight from the Los Angeles Superior Court to a nearby hospital, but it's become a recurring issue in the continuation of the ordeal. This marks the fifth time Knight has been taken from the courthouse via ambulance.

    Suge Knight just received some good news. A judge lowered his bail to $10 million, which Knight, who is currently incarcerated, will reportedly be able to post. The judge had initially set the former music executive's bail to $25 million, and when Knight found out, he passed out in court. It has now been lowered it by $15 million after the judge second-guessed his first decision. According to TMZ, Suge's lawyer Matthew Fletcher says he'll be able to make bail as early as today.
