    Kings of Leon's Mechanical Bull Tour hasn't even kicked off yet and the Southern rockers are already adding on new tour dates. Yesterday (Dec. 9), the "Supersoaker" band announced it would extend its North American 2014 tour into the spring.

    A long-lost, never-before-heard Johnny Cash album will finally see its release 10 years after the legend's death at age 71. Out Among the Stars, recorded with Country Music Hall of Famer Billy Sherrill in the early 1980s, will be released by Cash's estate, the Associated Press reports.
  • Metallica play 10-song set for concert in Antarctica [WATCH]

    We reported back in October that Metallica would be performing in Antarctica as part of a Coca-Cola promotion. The exclusive show is only the second to ever be performed on the continent. The temperature was -7 degrees when they performed to a crowd of fewer than 200 inside a dome structure near a helipad at Carlini Stations. In place of amps, the band transmitted audio through headphones.

    Band of Horses have announced two acoustic projects to drop early next year. For their first project, the band will expand upon the Acoustic at the Ryman 7-inch that they dropped on Record Store Day's Black Friday event with a full live album for release February 11 via Brown Records. The band's second unplugged endeavor is an acoustic North American tour, which kicks off in L.A. and finishes -in full-circle fashion- back at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.

    Lea Michele's debut album "Louder" is well on its way. In late November, the Glee star revealed the name of her debut single "Cannonball" and announced that it will drop on Dec. 10 (tomorrow). Alongside the release of "Cannonball," Michele also revealed that Louder will be available for pre-sale beginning on Tuesday. With that date literally just hours away, Michele revealed the full Louder tracklisting on her official Instagram and Twitter.
