    Australian electronic band Cut Copy has received promising reviews from critics after the Nov. 1 release of their fourth studio album, Free Your Mind. The video for the title track released in October shows how far the group has come with recognition as it featured True Blood actor Alexander Skarsgard playing a cult leader.

    The Pixies have announced who their new bassist will be, and no, her name isn't Kim. Paz Lenchantin, who has played with Zwan, A Perfect Circle and Entrance Band, will be joining the band on their upcoming 2014 tour. She replaces Kim Shattuck who replaced founding member Kim Deal during the band's 2013 tour.

    Dolly Parton will hit the road in the U.S. for a 2014 "Blue Smoke World Tour" over two different stretches, according to Billboard. Last October, the country singer announced tour dates in Australia for February has confirmed a string of shows in January and again in May in the U.S. The 11-day trek spans seven states in the southeast and southwest.

    Donald Glover, a.k.a. Childish Gambino, is known for his writing on shows such as Community and 30 Rock. Now he shows off his screenplay writing as Childish Gambino with a script inspired by his upcoming album, Because The Internet. Leading up to the its release, he talked about "imaginative rollouts" for the album. Maybe this is one of them.
