It seems like Britney Spears apologized to her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake for remarks she made in her autobiography and because of the mixed reactions she received for doing so, she had to make her Instagram account private.

In "The Woman in Me," she claimed that he had cheated on her with "another celebrity" and advised her to have an abortion because he "didn't want to be a father."

However, she shared a video of him performing his songs on Saturday Night Live with Jimmy Fallon on social media on Monday. "I wanna apologise for some of the things I wrote about in my book," she added in addition to the Instagram photo.

Spears wrote: "I really apologize if I upset anyone that I genuinely care about. "I also wanted to convey how much I adore the new song Selfish by Justin Timberlake. "It is so good - and how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together, I laugh so hard?"

The apology is not taken lightly by fans - some started to hate the fact that she needed to apologize when she was the one wronged, while others wondered what is her deal right now - because apologizing actually meant she just wants more attention and probably lied on her book.

This is at least the two polarizing sentiments. She now made her IG private to avoid such comments.

From 1999, when Spears was seventeen, to 2002, she was the NSync singer's girlfriend. Additionally, the singer of Baby One More Time stated in her memoirs, which was published in October 2023, that she had second-guessed whether had an abortion after finding out she was pregnant.

According to her memoir, Britney Spears had an abortion. Fans believe 2004 Britney mentions abortion in a video Fans think that Britney's book is gutsy, heartbreaking, and true. Following a social media outcry over the claims, Timberlake seemed to disable comments on his Instagram for a moment.

The Toxic singer wrote about her contentious conservatorship in her book as well. She described herself as a "child robot" and said that her father had informed her that he now had legal authority over both her personal and business activities, stating, "I am Britney Spears now."

Additionally, Spears declared last week that she would "never return to the music industry" in response to rumors that she was preparing a studio comeback.
