Britney Spears has hinted at a possible new project called "Sex & Diamonds."

The pop icon teased fans with an impending revelation on her Instagram page yesterday night, January 30. The singer shared a video of herself dancing in her sheer bodysuit at home, sharing only a brief description along with the video: "'Tease for new project coming up soon!!!" DIAMONDS AND SEX!!!

She wrote, "PS: swipe to see diamonds!!!" as the post's caption.

The video of her dancing in front of a ring camera was displayed on the next slide.

Specifics about the new project are still unknown as of this writing. Although some fans have quickly speculated that the message might be about Spears's upcoming album, others have questioned this given her previous declaration that she will "never return to the music industry."

The singer's statement followed rumors that she was collaborating with Charli XCX on a new album, which surfaced in the New Year. "Just to be clear, the majority of the news is garbage," she added. "They keep saying that I'm working with weird folks on my forthcoming record. I'm never going back to work in the music business! I write for other people or just for enjoyment when I write!

Some have speculated that Spears' announcement would have to do with her next fragrance release, which would be a continuation of the several scents she has already released.

Spears' Instagram account has been made private as of right now. She quickly changed her ways after apologizing to Justin Timberlake on the platform for "offending" him with her most recent memoirs. She revealed certain details about her personal life, work, family, and 13-year conservatorship in her biography, "The Woman In Me."

She also talked candidly about her difficult relationship with singer Justin Timberlake in the 275-page book, acknowledging that she had an abortion while she was dating the former *NSYNC member.

It wasn't a tragedy in my opinion. However, Justin was undoubtedly unhappy about becoming pregnant. He said that we were far too young and not ready to have a child in our lives," she wrote (via Sky News).

"I never would have done it if it was just up to me." "One of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life," she added, was how she put the abortion.
