Chris Brown and Ariana Grande decided to go epic on their old-tyme music video for "Don't Be Gone Too Long."

Basically, Breezy just gets to be a medieval badass who:

  •  Enjoys a romantic moment with Grande at dusk
  •  Gets taken away by armed soldiers
  •  Cleverly strangles a dude from behind bars
  •  Escapes
  •  Somehow finds Grande in a fairly large castle (GPS?)
  •  Does reckless B-roll dance moves throughout

Meanwhile, Grande adds another sexually charged performance in her quest-to-make-everyone-forget-about-the-Disney-Channel (so far, so good).

The song has enough gumption to stick on pop radio, but the video will probably be more memorable.

Brown posted it on YouTube, but claims the site blocked it, so you need to travel here to watch the full clip.

The singer has made several headlines over the past couple days thanks in part to his new joint with rapper Kendrick Lamar, "Autumn Leaves." Brown's album X drops on Sept. 16, and he also recently performed "X" and "Loyal" on the Tonight Show.

Oh, and he found time to discuss squashing beef with Drake and provide NFL player Ray Rice with advice on how to handle himself after abusing his spouse.

Brown also allegedly played a part in a Manhattan nightclub brawl earlier this week. A witness said Brown's entourage was not involved, but the New York Daily News stated "Brown and his entourage started arguing with another group and ... were throwing bottles at each other."
