Meek Mill's return to the rap game remains highly anticipated. Last month, Rick Ross posted photos of the incarcerated rapper and updated fans on his status. August Alsina recently spoke with Meek and was so gracious enough to share his conversation with the rapper from jail.

While talking with the Philly rhymer, Alsina took to Instagram and recorded his phone conversation with Meek Mill.

"Ayo what's up? It's your boy Meek Milly right here. Me and August kicking it, talking this real young nigga shit. Talking about how I gotta do it when I get back down. One love to everybody holding it down," he says in the clip.

Alsina offered up a little insight as to how the conversation went in his caption.

"Squad kalled from that shit hole... Good to hear & feel a smile on em thru it all. I tol em God sat us down differently but at the end of it all he SAT US DOWN! He said Exactly! We jus gotta know/recognize when da Man giving you a chance to get your shit in order then Come back stronger then ever. #HeSayHeMightFuckArounNwearASuitOnceAWeek #ISaid #NoooImNotReady *K.Hart voice #FreeMeekMilly," he wrote.

No word on when Meek will exactly be released but Ross captioned one of the photos he shared with, "Meek almost at the Door #FreeMeekMill Dreams Worth More than $."

In August, NBC 10 reported a judge presiding over the MMG rapper's case denied Meek's request for early parole to return to music and support his son.
