The partnership between Chris Brown and Trey Songz continues to grow as they prepare for their Between The Sheets arena tour this winter with special guest Tyga. The two R&B superstars have developed a strong working relationship, giving each other features for their albums and recently releasing a four-track cover mixtape for free (via the Chris Brown & Trey Songz Soundcloud) of tracks like Schoolboy Q's "Studio," iLoveMakonnen's "Club Goin' Up On A Tuesday" and others. Now Brown and Songz have released another cover, this time heading into the dance world and taking on David Guetta's latest radio hit "Dangerous" featuring the vocals of Sam Martin (via HotNewHipHop).
Brown and Songz have done another creative cover with this one, re-singing some of the original lyrics from Sam Martin and then adding their own bars that flow effortlessly over the production from David Guetta and his team.
Chris Brown has gone full EDM before with his track alongside Benny Benassi's "Beautiful People" that went on to become a worldwide hit and one of the biggest in his discography. Songz has also had forays into the dance world with crossover pop productions on his tracks.
We only have a radio rip for now and it sounds like a UK radio rip from the excited shouts at the end, but we hope this gets a full release soon of his "Dangerous." They could be releasing more covers to promote the tour, so check out the dates below and look out for potentially more material to drop from these two in the next few months.
