If you haven't been paying attention to the Los Angeles Lakers this season, you've been missing one hell of a reality television show. Two days after calling his teammates "soft as s--t," future Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant was in position to move past Michael Jordan for third on the NBA's all-time scoring list.

Kobe needed 31 points against the San Antonio Spurs to pass MJ, but he could only muster 22. Still, the Lakers won thanks to some overtime heroics from Nick Young (aka "Swaggy P" aka "Iggy's dimepiece"), who nailed a three-pointer from a tough angle to secure the victory.

Check out the play below:

Of course, Young has taken his fair share of criticism from Kobe this year, but it sounds as if he's trying to help the old-timer reach Jordan.

This is pretty funny, because Swaggy P rarely passes the ball to anyone, no matter the circumstances. Last night, we witnessed why that is when he drained the game-winning shot.

But he and the rest of his young teammates are still going to get tough love from Bryant.

"Look, we can all criticize my style of leadership all day long," Bryant told ESPN. "You can sit there, and it's uncomfortable, it's whatever, but I've been doing that since high school. We play this game to win championships, and I have five of them.

"It's worked pretty well throughout my career."

Here's the video of Kobe's rant at Lakers practice earlier this week that made national headlines:
