Electronic music is becoming big business, and it is not just for event companies; the DJs are getting rich too. Calvin Harris, the top earner in the genre, took home $66 million according to the Forbes Cash Kings list and among the top 10 richest musicians overall. Zedd is steadily climbing that list as well, having earned $21 million over the same period. With this new cash, the "Stay The Night" producer has bought a massive mansion in Hollywood Hills for a paltry $3.9 million.

The 3,443 square foot compound has 4 bedrooms to host any of his various guests, five bathrooms, a full security system to protect against people stealing his music and a heated salt water pool because going to the ocean is so difficult when you are in Los Angeles.

Zedd is earning so much money because he has a rare combination of producing hit records that have sold really well, with "Clarity" and "Stay The Night" each going platinum, while also inching his booking fee up into the low six figures a night. Producing hits for major pop stars like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga also pads the bottom line.

The "Find You" producer has also signed sponsorship deals with Bud Light and Absolut, appearing in commercials and using his "Rude" remix music video as a advertisement for Absolut.

Other DJs have been snatching up massive houses in the hills as well. Avicii and Calvin Harris have reportedly made similar acquisitions; while deadmau5 made his own purchase back in Canada on a massive plot of land so he could build a large studio facility. Compared to what Jay Z and Beyoncé were prepared to pay for their dream Los Angeles home, this is a steal for Zedd. See the rest of the pictures of Zedd's home via TMZ.
