Fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have watched as Yolanda Foster has openly battled Lyme disease for the last few years. She was reportedly sick with it for two years before ever being properly diagnosed, which means it had already wrecked havoc with her body, making flare-ups particularly nasty. Unfortunately, Foster spent several days leading up to Christmas back in the hospital.

According to a report by Radar Online, the reality star sat for an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens: Live and then checked herself into the hospital. Not one to ever cancel on her obligations, Foster was determined to make her appearance before having to surrender to her illness once again. She was released before Christmas and able to spend the actual holiday surrounded by family, but sources say everyone is still really concerned about the state of Foster's health.

While she is not one to complain at all, that does not change the fact that Lyme disease has taken a serious toll on her health and also on her ability to rebound from setbacks in connection with it. It is interesting because on RHOBH, Foster will occasionally reference her sickness, but she does seem to go out of her way to live a busy and productive life in spite of it.

Have you been watching the newest season of the reality show on Bravo? If so, what are your thoughts so far? At the time of filming, Foster was dealing with her daughter Bella Hadid's DUI arrest. It was a situation that really seemed to trigger Foster's own personal issues, but she certainly did not run from it. Other housewives would have likely insisted that the cameras stop rolling when those initial phone calls regarding the DUI were received and Foster is probably one of the most authentic women in this group, don't you think?
