Music Times has spent the last few weeks dishing on the grand-scale hacking of Sony and the impact that it has had in the entertainment world. While learning that the FBI had officially determined that North Korea was ultimately the starting point for the hack, dealing with that situation may prove to be the very least of the company's problems. All the focus has been on The Interview, finally getting it into theaters and then what, if any, repercussions would be. Sony still has to contend with a bunch of angry employees and that is a situation that's not going away any time soon.

One of the things that was divulged during email leaks was the salaries of some of Sony's top players. Sure we all learned that Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams were paid considerably less than their male costars in American Hustle, but what about the studio executives? The honchos that run things and keep everything else together have now learned what their coworkers are making and it's information that isn't sitting well with anyone according to TMZ.

Many of the suits believed that they were being paid top-dollar and treated extremely well by the company, but once they saw those informative emails they realized otherwise. It doesn't help Sony that many of these people have contracts that are currently up for renewal and you better believe that they are using their new information to help hold their ground for a significant raise.

While Sony may not be fearing any threats that the hackers are making they still have an enormous amount of discord within their ranks and it's going to cause problems for a long time to come! If you were a studio exec with a contract up for negotiation would you be digging in your heels and holding out for a raise? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
