It's amazing how many headlines Teresa Giudice still manages to grab, in spite of doing precious little in the last few months. Back in October The Real Housewives of New Jersey star learned that she'll be serving 15 months behind bars after pleading guilty on several fraud charges, but she claims not to have really understood the plea deal that she took. Instead Giudice believes that her own legal team mislead her so she has been shopping for new representation as her Jan. 5 incarceration date quickly approaches.

According to a source for Hollywood Life, Giudice is clinging to the notion that hiring a different team will somehow alter her fate. "She thinks she'll be able to get out earlier than 15 months. She's trying to find a different legal team because she feels like she got screwed by her team not declaring certain assets," says the source.

When she was standing in front of the judge last October, Giudice said that she took full responsibility for her actions and was willing to accept her punishment for her bad choices. The judge said that she believed that Giudice was only sorry for getting caught and in the months that have followed that certainly seems to be the case. Instead of just sucking it up the fallen reality star has tried every thing imaginable to shift blame and lessen her own punishment.

Of course Giudice's efforts have been pretty useless because in signing that agreement she basically locked in her own fate. Is she nuts to think that a different legal team will somehow get her out of jail early? Might she get time served for good behavior or do you think she will be sitting for 15 months?
