We're only a few short weeks until the moment when Fifty Shades of Grey will finally make its grand debut in theaters and then we'll all definitively know whether or not the film adaptation does the book justice. Needless to say, both Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are doing loads of interviews to promote the film. They are also both covering the March 2015 issue of Glamour and the interview that accompanies it is pretty revealing.

Dornan confessed that during those scenes that were filmed in Christian Grey's now infamous red room, he felt very protective of Johnson. Those intimate scenes were the very last ones that were filmed so that the two would already feel comfortable with each other. Johnson said that the minute the director yelled cut Dornan was always quick to throw a blanket over her so that she no longer felt exposed and vulnerable.

Johnson also takes serious issue with people that claim her character, Anastasia Steele is weak and is under Grey's thumb. "I completely disagree with people who think Ana's weak," she said. "I think she's actually stronger than [Christian Grey, the title character played by Dornan] is. Everything she does is her choice. And if I can be an advocate for women to do what they want with their bodies and not be ashamed of what they want, then I'm all for that." explains Johnson.

Based on that statement it sounds like the actress has every intention of putting a positive spin on things, no matter how they ultimately end up. Dornan said in a recent interview that he's really not sure what to expect from anyone once the film premieres. It could catapult him to Robert Pattinson-like status, or his career could tank because of it. Johnson is sitting in exactly the same boat. What are your expectations for Fifty? Do you think that somehow they'll pull off the almost unthinkable and people will love the film? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
