So many women will be running to the movie theaters on Feb. 13 to check out Fifty Shades of Grey primarily because of how hot the book series is. There is this immense hope that somehow the film adaptation will do the BDSM book enough justice to ensure that the rest of the trilogy also finds its' way to the big screen. The pressure is really on Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson to not only breathe life into the characters of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, but also to crank up the heat.

If the chemistry isn't there, this whole film will fall flat and Dornan knows it, but he also told EW that the good old Red Room of Pain that Mr. Grey uses isn't all that this story has to offer.

"The love story is more important than the BDSM aspect. I mean, we are going to tell a love story, you know, it can't just be what happens in the Red Room, that's not a film. There's so much more going on than that," said Dornan.

We recently told you that Dornan had visited a sex dungeon to help him to research the role and while doing so he admits to learning some interesting things about BDSM.

"I can understand why people say tying a woman up and spanking her is misogynistic. But actually, more men are submissives than women. Very powerful men. It's a far bigger scene than I imagined: in pretty much any city in the world that you could name, people want to get spanked with a paddle with studs on it," says Dornan.

Are you as surprised as Dornan was to hear that men who are powerful in business might actually be far more submissive in bed? As for his role in Fifty, do you think that he and Johnson are actually going to pull this off? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
