The charts in the U.K. are looking quite a bit like the ones here in the United States. As Meghan Trainor's debut album Title and Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' throwback hit "Uptown Funk" crown the Billboard charts, the major pop players are also owning things across the pond.

Trainor holds the "title" of No. 1 in the U.K., according to The Official Charts Company. Thanks to her hits "All About That Bass" and "Lips Are Movin'," Trainor was able to beat out the English chart slayer Ed Sheeran's x by 5,000 copies. Though, Sheeran was still able to grab the No. 2 spot.

Trainor leads a U.K. album chart that is only sprinkled with debuts this week. Indie rockers The Charlatans' new album Modern Nature debuted at No. 7, followed by "Under the Shadows" singer Rae Morris' Unguarded, which launched at No. 9.

Other albums in the top 10 on the album chart are: Ronson's Uptown Special (No. 3), Sam Smith's In The Lonely Hour (No. 4), George Ezra's Wanted on Voyage (No. 5), Hozier's self-titled album (No. 6), Taylor Swift's 1989 and Fall Out Boy's American Beauty/American Psycho (No. 10).

Over on the U.K. singles chart, things are reflecting what's going on in the States, with Ronson and Mars' "Uptown Funk" topping the singles chart for the seventh week. Thanks to a combination of sales and streams, the funky track beats out Hozier's "Take Me to Church" (No. 2) to become the longest running No. 1 in the U.K. since Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love."

Beneath those hits, a surprising track launched up the charts, with Fergie's comeback solo single "L.A. Love (La La)" jumping up 120 spots to No. 3. Rihanna also debuts in the top 10 this week, which is less surprising. Her Kanye West/Paul McCartney collaboration "FourFiveSeconds" started at No. 5.

The top five is rounded out by Trainor's "Lips Are Movin'" at No. 4.
