Continuing the theme of country at the 2015 Grammys, Brandy Clark and Grammy-award winning country singer, songwriter Dwight Yoakam teamed up to perform Clark's song "Hold My Hand" from her 2013 album 12 Stories, our 6th favorite album of the year. The pair kept things very simple as they brought their performance to the center podium for a stripped down, acoustic rendition of the song.

Following Eric Church's touching performance of "Give Me Back My Hometown"  the duo came out without any frills or production, with just their voices and guitars for a riveting rendition of Clark's "Hold My Hand." This combination blended together two talents seamlessly as they sang the song in harmony without any issue. Bringing together veterans and newcomers can be a struggle, but these two showed chemistry.

Brandy Clark was nominated for two awards this year at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards -- Best New Artist and Best Country Album. She lost out Best New Artist to Sam Smith and Miranda Lambert's Platinum.

Dwight Yoakam is an 18-time Grammy Award winner and 3-time winner at the Grammys, so this stage is nothing new to him. The majority of his wins came in the 1980s and 1990s, though his most recent came in 2013 as the Americana Music Award for Artist Of The Year.
