Eric Church brought some tenderness and a political statement to his 2015 Grammys performance. Tonight (Feb. 8) the renegade country music star took to the stage to performe his The Outsiders single and Grammy-nominated track "Give Me Back My Hometown," all while making a strong statement with background flashes of hometowns gone sour.

Dressed like a cool biker in a leather jacket and aviator sunglasses, Chuch gave a straightforward performance of his touching single "Give Me Back My Hometown." The noteworthy live performer nailed the emotions and the notes of this song, adding in extra vocal flares when needed for maximum effect.

To kick up the emotions of the song, Church played clips of hometowns in the midst of struggles. In addition to older footage of riots and fires, Church also played recent clips from protests in Paris, Ferguson and other cities around the world, just to drive his point home.
