Last night, Drake dropped his new mixtape, If You're Reading This It's Too Late, without warning after sharing a 15-minute film earlier in the day called "Jungle." The 17-track mixtape features appearances from Lil Wayne, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Travi$ Scott. Now a handwritten thank you note for the tape has surfaced as well as a teaser trailer for his upcoming film Homecoming.

In the handwritten note, Drizzy thanks those who helped make the album a reality including his OVO crew as well as Chief Keef, Riff Raff, Madonna, Ginuwine, Lenny Kravitz's daughter Zoe, the whole Toronto Raptors organization, a few women from his past, and more.

Drake also dropped a short trailer for his upcoming Homecoming film, which will be hitting theaters for one night on March 19 and features never-before-seen footage of Drake's sold out concert at Toronto's Sound Academy back in 2009 before he was signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money.

The film chronicles his early career in hip-hop and includes interviews with Bun B, Jas Prince, and more.

Drake's new mixtape, If You're Reading This It's Too Late, is the precursor to his upcoming studio album, Views from the 6. The tape was initially announced by Toronto Raptors player Demar Derozan and the confirmed by Drake at the Toronto Raptors' Drake night.

Fans were initially anticipating a free mixtape, but because it was released as an album for purchase on iTunes, fans are speculating Drake had alternative motives. The album would theoretically fulfill his contractual obligation to Cash Money Records. His mentor, collaborator, friend and labelmate Lil Wayne has been publicly trying to release himself form Cash Money, filing a $51 million lawsuit against the label. If this mixtape fulfills Drake's four-album commitment, he would be freed from his contract and able to move with Tunechi if/when he jumps ship. Time will tell when and on what label Drake will drop Views From The 6.
