So 50 Cent stopped by The Breakfast Club earlier this week to talk about everything G-Unit, but the conversation ended up shifting a bit. The rapper shed some light on his strained relationship with Dr. Dre, saying he no longer considers himself friends with the Beats Electronics co-founder. He also shared a story about Suge Knight from the 1990s. The "In Da Club" rapper explained that when there were rumblings of Tupac Shakur wanting to leave Death Row Records, Knight started to think about how he could get more money for the iconic artist to stay, HipHopDX noted. Like kill him.

"Suge was gonna kill Dre," Fitty claimed before imitating what Knight said. "'How do I keep him? Maybe I'll give him Dre's half. I don't know. Something might have to happen to Dre.'"

Knight is currently awaiting trial on charges of murder and hit-and-run.

Turning his focus to Dre, 50 opened up about their relationship.

"I don't call to talk to him for no reason. I think that relationship was business," he said. "For a long time, I was a New York Knick player in the middle of the L.A. locker room. Interscope was the West Coast when it was East Coast-West Coast going on, and I never really saw them respond properly to Game's disrespect when it happened 'cause they had some sort of allegiance to the West or something. I was like, 'You know I wrote the records?'"

The rapper added that some of Dre's problems with 50 may stem from the fact that his Beats partner, Jimmy Iovine, did not really like him.

Things are looking good for 50, though. G-Unit is back together and hot off the release of a new EP, The Beast Is G-Unit. The six-track effort dropped Tuesday, March 3.
