One Gwen Stefani fan became so concerned with her wellbeing that he threatened to kill himself after she tripped... and now the "Baby Don't Lie" singer has had to obtain a restraining order against the man in order to protect herself.
Stefani obtained a three-year long restraining order against Ricard Portnoy, according to TMZ reports. The man has been stalking the No Doubt frontwoman for a while now, showing up to her home with various gifts (including flowers, candy and letters) and even an acupuncture appointment.
Reportedly, Portnoy (whom TMZ notes is a wealthy man) felt that Stefani wasn't happy in her present life and that he could "change that."
He also flipped out after the 45-year-old mother of three was photographed tripping that he threatened to kill himself if she had been injured, telling Stefani's father at her home that he couldn't see himself living in such a world.
