Ludaversal rapper Ludacris and his wife Eudoxie celebrated the anticipated arrival of their first child together last Sunday, April 26. The couple held a baby shower and was joined by family and friends, including Monica Brown and LeToya Luckett.
Brown posted a photo to Instagram of the rapper and his wife with a caption that read:
"Today was all about the love shared between these two, the memories created and the blessing we are all awaiting!! Love U @ludacris & @eduoxiee#SecretGarden #BabyBridgesShower..."
Eudoxie posted quite a bit of memories to Instagram herself. The mommy-to-be shared photos of her and Ludacris, their guests and silly photos with the rapper's daughter Karma Bridges.
Ludacris dropped his latest album, Ludaversal on March 31. Ludaversal is the rapper's eighth album that the rapper claimed took four years to put it together.
The rapper's role in popular film Furious 7 of The Fast and Furious franchise, gained a lot of popularity since its April 3 release. In an interview with Screen Rant, the rapper shared how his character Tej evolved through the series.
"I think that Tej has evolved because I used to have a big-ass afro and I just used to be a little petty gambler and do little things," Ludacris told Screen Rant. "And now you see him being tech savvy and being kind of like extremely intelligent and the brains of the operation and a cohesive person for the team. In this movie I even get in a fight scene. So there continue to be skill sets that people are surprised about."
Ludacris also touched on one of his most memorable moments with the late Paul Walker. The rapper reminisced on a conversation he had with Walker and singer /actor Tyrese just a week prior to Walker's sudden death. Ludacris was pleased with how Furious 7 honored Walker.
"I think we honored him in such a graceful and elegant and classy way at the end of this movie. I'm just happy with the way that it was done."
