CHVRCHES released yet another track from their new album Every Open Eye,"Never Ending Circles," earlier this week. Slotted to drop Sept. 25 via Glassnote, the Glasgow trio's follow-up to the heavily applauded The Bones of What You Believe will undboutedly be one of the fall's most celebrated records.
The second single to be shared from their sophomore release, "Never Ending Circles," much like "Leave a Trace," features what Vulture describes as an "atmospheric ballad bridge" amidst a thumping backbeat and vibrating synth. A plausibly perfect soundtrack for late summer, "Never Ending Circles" gives listeners a taste of the tempo driven perfection of their forthcoming studio album.
"You get this level of ownership, and you really can't compete with that," synth player Martin Doherty said in a recent interview for New York Magazine. "If this album is a disaster, then there'll be no one to look at but ourselves."
Considering the recent praise from critics for "Leave a Trace," fans can be certian that disaster is an unlikely fate for CHVRCHES second release. The trio plans to hit the road this fall for a lengthy tour including dates in North America as well as the UK.
