Lady Gaga's highly anticipated third LP ARTPOP is set for a Nov. 11 release date, and the first single is expected on Aug. 19. With the first single's release imminent, it's surprising that little information has been given about the new music. Yesterday (July 23) on her LittleMonsters.com social network, Lady Gaga and her makeup artists may have just announced the title of Mother Monster's new song: "Applause."

With the simple caption of "26 days" (which is the time until Aug. 19), Tara Savelo posted a photo of what seems to be someone working on single artwork. Simple red capital letters spelling out the single name appear at the top center of the artwork. The artist is working on what appears to be a black and white cover with a golden drawing tool.

Gaga herself then chimed in in the comment section of the social network post, revealing some about the writing process of ARTPOP. "Documented this album/app ARTPOP project in a series of notes and books, with visual ideas and sketches throughout. I take this book everywhere," Mother Monster wrote.

Gaga then posted a photo of a page of her notebook, which perhaps has the lyrics to "Applause." "If only fame had an IV, / Baby, I could bare, / Being away from you, / I found the vein, / Put it in here," the scribbled poetry reads.

Small sketches surround the penned words, with what appear to be stick figures or the Venus female symbol being the most prevalent.

ARTPOP will be released Nov. 11, following the release of "Applause" on Aug. 19.
