Russian producer DJ Arty revealed in a series of tweets today (Aug. 12) the details that fans have been dying to hear for the past year: the title and release date for his debut artist album Glorious. The "Stronger" producer has been talking up the project for months, ever since he was signed to Insomniac's new record label, but the full length has not surfaced. Now they can start the countdown to Oct. 9 when Glorious will see its full release in the midst of a two-month tour that takes him through Europe, the United States and Canada.
Glorious will include 12 original productions, including the previously released "Stronger," featuring Ray Dalton and "Up All Night" with Angel Taylor. The next single from Glorious will be "Braver," featuring Australian vocalist Conrad, who rose to prominence among EDM fans for his contributions on Kygo's "Firestone." "Braver" will be released on Aug. 21.
Arty outlined on Twitter what fans can expect from the album, saying there would be some indie dance, old-school progressive, pop and French house inspired records.
"From the start I didn't want to put myself into one specific genre, so for me the challenge was to discover as much different genres, type of vocals and harmonies as possible. I really hope people will simply enjoy my music that I've put so much soul into," Arty said in a statement.
